First off I have travel to different places and try to find Puerto rican/latin restaurants but this one is by far the best i have been, the food was really good Arroz con gandules and pollo guidado(chicken stew) the service was also good the ladies were very attentive and they give you complementary food for free while you wait, whats not to like, so I highly recommend this restaurant and they have different events for everyday.

Authentic Puerto Rican food! I had the Mofongo con cammarones (smashed plantains and shrimp in a garlic sauce) arroz blanco con habichuelas (white rice and beans), and it was perfect! I loved every bite!

2 stars because the Venezuelan empanada had barely any meat in it. The Puerto Rican beef empanada was decent. But still for the price it s not worth it

Im from Puerto Rico and my friend and I were very excited to eat here, we both missed our mofongo! We had a wonderful time, the staff all was bilingual and spoke to us in Spanish (we were very happy) and the food was excellent, the mofongo was HUGE! Definitely enough for 2 people. I highly recommend eating here Gracias Latin Quarter!

When I say this place is the best Puerto Rican food in all of Florida I mean just that. Quality home style cooking with flavors bursting at every bite is most definitely to leave you wanting more off the menu. The staff are absolutely amazing and very very nice and full of great vibes. Do not miss this stop on your list when visiting Sarasota !

First time at Latin Quarters, we enjoyed our lunch. My only complaint was no free refills on ice tea. Free refills on coke though, never been to a restaurant where they charge for ice tea refills. Nor did I see that listed on menu and the waitress didnt mention either. 9.00 for ice tea is ridiculous. Well be back, but water next time.

Ordered take out when it was slow. As soon as we paid no one stopped by and our food sat in the boxes unattended on the other end of the bar for 15 minutes before we got up and walked over there. We asked if it was our food and no one could tell us if it was our food. One employee literally walked away from us when we asked if our take out had just been sitting there. They proceeded to open all of our boxes and still ask for our receipt. The place was so over staffed I have never seen so many people walk past an order that was meant for people sitting with nothing in front of them only 10 feet away. Saw several employees on their phones or just gossiping.

Got there at 9 pm to eat, get drinks, and dance a little.. There were many empty tables, maybe 2 couples dancing. They wanted us to sit all the way in the back. They didnt even want to sit us in the bar! The girl/hostess talked to us while chewing her food. Never ever will be back!

This was our first time eating here and it didn t disappoint !!!! The food was flavored perfectly. Our server Alisa was wonderful and she did a great job recommending dishes. We were a party of 8 and she was definitely on top of her game. We will most certainly will be back. Thank you

I was there having dinner with friends and had the Oxtail Soup Caribbean dish. OMG!!! the FLAVORS were WOW. and I have an aversion to salt and the seasons were on point. Didn t have an after effect the next day. Will make sure I find my way back there soon.
